Wednesday 1st March – Sarah Travers

Former BBC and UTV broadcaster Sarah Travers will be our guest speaker at Up for Business on Wednesday 1st March, and for anyone interested in learning more about communication and presentation skills in business, this is an ideal opportunity to learn from one of the best.

Sarah and her business partner Camilla Long provide media training, public speaking courses and communications advice through their successful company, Bespoke Communications.

Sarah is best known for her role as news anchor on BBC Northern Ireland. As a BBC TV presenter, she also fronted the weekly Family Focus slot, Lifeline, The Balmoral Show and Children In Need.

After moving from BBC, she presented ‘The Magazine’ lifestyle programme on UTV, Northern Ireland’s commercial TV channel. Sarah is part of the editorial team at Local Women Magazine and teaches journalism at The Verbal Arts School of Journalism.

She is in demand as a business event host in Northern Ireland. At Bespoke Communications, Sarah’s skill is in empowering reluctant communicators to speak confidently in the media and in front of audiences.

If communication is an area in which your business needs improvement or guidance, then this is an event not to be missed.

A light breakfast will be served on the day and there will be an opportunity for networking following the event.
